In his late teens and already having backpacked his way around the world Jonathan found himself living in Cologne, Germany where he got his first break in professional photography as an apprentice with studio based car photographer Frank Nowak.

Following his apprenticeship Jonathan spent 3 years as a freelance assistant working primarily for 2 top fashion photographers, travelling to fantastic locations all over the world before making the break from Germany and moving to London to make a name for himself as a photographer in his own right.

7 years of hard slog and lots of bad weather later, Jonathan now lives between Nice and Monaco in Southern France where he spends his time working on personal projects as well as commercial and private portrait commissions.
